Caregiver Leave can be used to care for a spouse, domestic partner, child or parent with a serious health condition.
An employee must be a full-time employee and must have worked for the Company for six (6) or more consecutive months (the “Eligibility Period”). Eligibility begins on the employee’s start date, in the case of rehires eligibility will begin on the employee’s latest start date.
Upon meeting the Eligibility Period, an employee will be eligible for four (4) weeks of paid Caregiver Leave.
Caregiver Leave may be used for any one, or a combination of, the following reasons:
To care for the employee’s spouse, domestic partner, child (including a child for whom the employee stands in loco parentis) or parent (which does not include in-laws but does include persons who stand in loco parentis) with a serious health condition;
You must have twelve (12) months of continuous full-time employment with the Company following a paid Caregiver Leave before you are eligible for a subsequent period of Caregiver Leave.
