How It Works

1. Give the verifier The Work Number details

2. Verifier will need:

B. Your Social Security Number (SSN) or other personal identifier

3. For Employment Verification (e.g., job title, start date):
   
   

   • The verifier can log in and get immediate confirmation.
     
     

4. For Income Verification (e.g., salary, pay history):
   
   

The verifier will also need your authorization (such as a signed release or salary key you provide).

Your Role

• If someone asks you for employment or income verification, do not send them to HR.
  
  

• Instead, direct them to The Work Number® with the information above.
  
  

• If you are asked to provide a Salary Key (for income verifications), you can create one yourself:
  
  

  • Visit www.theworknumber.com/employees
    
    

  • Enter Orchestra’s Employer Code and your information
    
    

  • Follow the prompts to generate a Salary Key to share with the verifier.
