We believe learning is a key part of the internship experience. Our training series is designed to help interns skills, explore new tools, and gain exposure to different parts of the business.
Please confirm with your manager which trainings you’re expected to attend.
Can’t make a live session? Recordings will be available, feel free to schedule time with other interns to watch together.
Interns are also welcome to join all-staff trainings as indicated, and if your manager thinks it’s a good fit.
Our training program is broken into three series:
Communication Fundamentals: Introduces interns to the essentials of media strategy, from crafting the perfect pitch to measuring impact. These sessions are designed to help you understand how media works—and how to make it work for your clients. You’ll walk away with practical skills, insider tools, and a deeper understanding of how to make your message matter. Sessions include:
The Media Landscape
Clips & Media Monitoring
Media Outreach
List Building & Tools
Foundations for Success: Equips you with the tools, skills, and confidence to thrive—this summer and beyond. These interactive trainings focus on core professional skills to help you stand out, stay organized, and show up as your best self. Each session is led by leaders from across Orchestra, giving you a chance to learn from experts across disciplines and teams. Some topics will include:
Responsible AI Usage
Professional Presence
Organization & Time Management
Career Essentials
Networking & Social Events: Throughout the cohort season, we will hold networking events as an opportunity for interns to connect with more senior, full-time staff from across the firm. These events are designed to spark conversation, expand your network, and make the most of your time with us.
Here you'll find a master list of upcoming and past intern trainings and programming. Links to recordings and decks are embedded within the spreadsheet as they occur.
As hourly employees, interns are paid on a bi-weekly schedule. You can see the full pay calendar here.
It is the intern's responsibility to fill out their timesheet on time so that the finance and HR teams can process their payroll without delay.
Interns will log 40 hours a week IN ADDITION to a correctly-coded 30-minute unpaid "meal"
In total, each week should be logged with 42.5 hours of work, with 2.5 of those hours logged as "Meal Break."
Instructions for how to enter your time into Replicon as an hourly employee can be found in the embedded video, and more info can be found on our Replicon page here.
